Tea Bag Folding

I’ve been reading a lot of blogs and other information on the net, and have found a new idea (for me) – tea bag folding and iris card folding. I tried one card today, and found that it will take quite a bit of time to master this craft. However, it does look like something that appeals to me. I’ll try it for a while, and if I can do one or two that are passable, I’ll post a picture here if I get that far. I have been looking for something else to do in addition to my jewelry, and this may be it. I used to sew a lot, but for some reason that no longer appeals to me. I want to see how this works out.

New Wire Wrapped Cabochons

Wire wrap Pendants Dec 2012

I’ve been doing some wire wrapping lately. Here are some of them.
From left to right:
Blue Crazy Lace Agate,
Owl on Green Resin
Flamingos and Tropical Scene on Green & Blue Resin
Seahorse and Shells on Blue Resin
Deep Blue Amethyst
They are all about 20x30mm.
Some of them I surrounded with glass beads, which seems to be very nice and adds another dimension to the cabochons.
They are all wrapped in a silver colored jewelry wire that does not tarnish or change color, and they have nice big bales so they can be fitted over necklaces with small clasps.
I hope my friends like them.
Thanks.
