Wire Wrapped Fused Glass Pendants

Colorful red-orange, navy, white and lime gree fused glass pendant wire wrapped in silver wire. Asymmetricall, contemporary, minimalist style

Below you will find wire wrapped fused glass pendants. I made the fused glass and also did the wire wrapping along with a description of each. When wrapping these pendants, each wrap is planned according to the shape of the glass and the pattern of the colors. I like to use a contemporary, asymmetrical but minimalist style for each pendant.

I am selling each pendant for $28.00 + shipping. (I will combine shipping). Pendants are shipped via USPS Priority Mail in a gift box. Contact me thru email if you have questions or would like to order one or more of these beautiful pendants. I accept Paypal and will ship the day after the payment is received.

I hope you like these pendants. They are sure to be something you enjoy wearing. I am sure you will receive many compliments and questions about your pendant.

Fused glass is a technique where multiple layers of different colors of glass are fused together in a kiln at an extremely hot temperature. Below are colorful glass cabochons I made using a fused glass technique. These are all made from the same glass, but you can see that each is different. No 2 are alike.

As you can see, the colors in the glass, and the amount of color in each piece is unstructured and random. The ruler is inserted to display the size of each piece. Most of them are around 1″ in width and various lengths between 1″ and 2″. You can see how sparkling and shiny each piece is. The glass does not loose that shine in the wire wrapping process.

After the fusing is completed, the glass is allowed to cool slowly. This strengthens the glass, and it becomes much less fragile. When completed, the colors appear in a random, unstructured layout on a nicely domed piece of glass with no sharp edges. These pieces are suitable for wire wrapping and will be done soon.
